Hosco Japan Jaguar Jazzmaster Mustang guitar bridge bushings

Hosco Japan Jaguar Jazzmaster Mustang bridge bushings set of 2

Guitar players of JM/JG/MG, equipped with so-called vintage-style “rocking” bridges, must have been frustrated with poor sustain,
string slip from saddles and pitch deviation during arm bending.
These problems are caused by the excess “play” of the bridge post, resulted from the anchor being extremely wide in relation to the
diameter of the bridge post.
While originally intended by design, this feature doesn't match well with the current preference for lighter gauge strings than sets
used in the fifties and sixties.
These fixing bushings are a simple push-in attachment to the bridge feet.
No alteration to the original body is needed.
Restricting the rocking movement inside the anchor post can improve tunig stability considerably.
Depending on the bridge mounted or alignment of the pickguard, it may require a minor adjustment by sanding the bushing edge
off a bit or cutting a slit to enlarge the diameter.
But thanks to the nature of the used polyacetal material, anybody can do it without much hassle.
