Fender nickel plated steel 4 X 1/2" oval phillips head wood screws.
Oval phillips head, shank is threaded all the way.
On a sample screw I measured .199" diameter on the head, .111" on the thickest portion of the threaded shank, .538" length overall.
As found on USA Vintage Series instruments including Stratocaster, Telecaster, Jaguar, Jazzmaster, Mustang, Electric XII, Precision Bass, Jazz Bass, Mustang Bass etc.
These screws are also used on the tremolo backplate and input jack 'cup' on Strats.
Nickel plating has a soft yellowish tint appropriate to vintage guitars.
